Training Overview
These First Aid courses meet the requirements for Provincial/Territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the most up-to-date First Aid and CPR Guidelines.
Standard First Aid: This First Aid / CPR Level C certification is approved by the Workers' Compensation Board of Alberta. Training consists of a comprehensive two-day course covering first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants, and the proper use of AEDs.
Emergency First Aid: Basic one-day course offers lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)skills for the workplace or home for adults, children, and infants as well as the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Booking Process:
- Select your preferred training date and add as many seats as you need to your cart by selecting “Book Now.”
- You will then be asked to fill out your billing information before completing your booking and payment.
- Once your purchase is complete, you will be logged in to your account, where you can enroll yourself or assign your purchased training to others by using the management tab.
- You will automatically receive two emails. A receipt and confirmation for your booking reservation and an email with the details for your training, including start time, directions, and anything you will need for your upcoming class, will follow shortly after.
Course Running Time: Standard - 8:30am - 4:30pm (2 Days), Emergency - 8:30am - 4:30pm (7.5 hours in-class)
