Training Overview
This Confined Space Entry & Monitor course offers theory as well as practical knowledge required for entering a confined space or monitoring to the entry of a confined space. Students will participate in hands-on equipment and setup exercises, and address safe practices and procedures as specified in Regulations by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Training Options
- Instructor-led – $99: This is the standard Confined Space Entry Certification, which consists of one day of in-class training, including hands-on equipment training.
- Blended – $79: Blended training provides the theory portion of the training that is delivered online, at your own pace, and typically takes about 4 hours to complete. The practical component of training then takes an additional 3 hours in class, during which you will participate in hands-on instructor-led training.
- Energy Safety Canada – $150: The ESC Confined Space training is also a 1 day course. Some employers may specifically require an ESC Confined Space certificate.
Booking Process:
- Select your preferred training date and add as many seats as you need to your cart by selecting “Book Now.”
- You will then be asked to fill out your billing information before completing your booking and payment.
- Once your purchase is complete, you will be logged in to your account, where you can enroll yourself or assign your purchased training to others by using the management tab.
- You will automatically receive two emails. A receipt and confirmation for your booking reservation and an email with the details for your training, including start time, directions, and anything you will need for your upcoming class, will follow shortly after.
- If you purchased the Blended course, your online training will be available immediately once your booking is complete.

- Part Two: Practical Training
- Entry permit completion
- Hazard assessment of the confined space with an air monitor and other relevant equipment
- Students will then assemble the tripod, don a harness, and simulate confined space entry
- Non-entry rescue will also be covered
