It is important that every employer is regularly conducting audits of their facilities and job sites to ensure that their Health & Safety Program and its policies are being followed. We provide support to employers who do not have available internal resources to conduct these audits, or who want to bring in an outside firm to support culture change or reinforce the importance of compliance.
The first step we take in these projects is a 30 minute discovery meeting to better understand your needs and context. This also will give you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about our audit process or about the act and legislation in general.
To book a discovery meeting or just ask some questions, call our consulting team directly at (866) 756-5554.

Employers have a number of duties related to safety and they include ensuring that the equipment, materials and protective devices prescribed for a task are provided and maintained in good condition. It is also the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the measures and procedures prescribed for a specific task are carried out in the workplace.
Additionally, employers must acquaint a worker or a person in authority over a worker with any hazard in the work and in the handling, storage, use, disposal and transport of any article, device, equipment or a biological, chemical or physical agent, and take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker.
Our audit process assists the employer as they fulfill their responsibility to prepare and review at least annually a written occupational health and safety policy and develop and maintain a program to implement that policy;
The Occupational Health & Safety Act in Ontario outlines these requirements here: Part 111 OHSA – Duties of Employers and Other Persons
