This Galvanized Steel Cable Anchor is an excellent solution when you need to create your own anchor point. The cable can be wrapped around a steel beam or other secure structure to create an anchor rated up to 310lbs. Once wrapped around a secure point, pass the small 2″ O-ring through the larger 3″ one and connect a compatible/CSA-compliant carabiner to the smaller O-ring to provide a secure anchorage. The PVC coating helps prevent abrasion and corrosion damage, while the cable itself is made from a quarter-inch galvanized steel cable. It is a CSA Z259 & ANSI Z359 compliant anchor mechanism and is often used in construction applications but can be utilized anywhere it can be appropriately attached.
