The Baffin Eastern Waterproof Leather Boots have a slip-resistant outsole that has been northern rated by Baffin. Products with such certification have been tested to withstand moderate activity in environments where wet or icy conditions may be present. The outsole has been specifically tested to provide slip resistance even on the most icy surfaces. The midsole is made from a Polyurethane material that cushions the users feet for longer on the job. Finally, despite their level of protection, these boots are lightweight and breathable to keep the wearer comfortable
