Chapter one goes over the basics of hazard awareness in the workplace, this includes how to use the RACE method for evaluating the workplace for potential hazards.
2. Hazard Categories
The second chapter in this course provides an overview of the categories of hazards that are commonly found in the workplace.
3. Contributing Factors
Chapter three provides an overview of the main contributing factors of workplace hazards. These factors are identifiable by the PEMEP system, which provides an overview of the hazards caused by People, Equipment, Materials, Environment, and Process.
4. Hazard Characteristics
The final chapter of this course provides you with an understanding of the major characteristics and effects of hazards on the body. Workplace hazards can affect everything from your central nervous system, respiratory system, to your skin.
