Conflict Resolution Training
This Conflict Resolution Training is designed to help trainees identify, mitigate and resolve conflict in a timely and respectful manner. Conflict in the workplace can have a variety of costs and impacts, and understanding how to effectively manage conflict is crucial for personal and professional development. This training will provide the learner with tools and strategies to help understand conflict and resolve conflicts constructively.
This course consists of 5 chapters and a final exam. Once you pass your exam, you may print your certificates of completion (wallet & wall sized). Training may be paused or resumed at any time, is fully narrated, and includes a plastic wallet certificate which typically arrives within 3-4 business days.

Course Outline
1. Course Introduction
This module introduces trainees to the course. It breaks down what the course is about, some of the tools and resources available to learners, and lays out course learning objectives.
2. What is Conflict?
The second module defines conflict, conflict resolution, and the impact conflict can have on an organization. It also reviews workplace standards and anti-harassment legislation.
3. Conflict
This module identifies types of conflict, how conflict can start, how to manage and existing conflict and how to respond to different types of conflict.
4. Mediation
Module 4 explores how to mediate a conflict. It defines mediation and the role of the mediator, and how one might go about mediating different types of conflict.
5. Improving Communication Skills
The final module gives an overview of some common ways to improve communication in a variety of settings such as at work and at home.
