It is important that every employer is regularly conducting audits of their job sites to ensure that their Health & Safety Program and its policies are being followed. We provide support to employers who do not have available internal resources to conduct these audits, or who want to bring in an outside firm to support culture change or reinforce the importance of compliance.

In addition to the requirements outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Ontario Regulation 213/91 Construction Projects (provide link) give additional guidance to constructors, general contractors and site supervisors.
As stated in Part 1 of the Construction Regulation, a supervisor or competent person must inspect a workplace at least once per week and also inspect all machinery and equipment, including fire extinguishing equipment, magazines, electrical installations, communication systems, sanitation and medical facilities, buildings and other structures, temporary supports and means of access and egress at the project to ensure that they do not endanger any worker.
Having a third-party inspection further illustrates a firm’s due diligence in relation their legal obligations to protect workers.
