Worksite Safety is happy to announce a new category in our classroom training courses – First Aid! We are now offering WSIB approved Emergency First Aid/CPR and Standard First Aid/CPR. Ontario businesses covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act are required to have first aid equipment, facilities and trained personnel in all workplaces.

Emergency vs. Standard: What’s the Difference?

Emergency First Aid meets the requirements for workplace training where there are not more than five workers on any one shift. This one-day course teaches participants how to confidently respond to an emergency in the home or workplace and provide lifesaving care until professional help arrives.

Standard First Aid & CPR course meets the requirements for workplace training where there are six or more workers on any one shift. The two-day training includes practical skill stations, scenarios and written evaluation and is approved by WSIB and provincial workers’ compensation boards.

We are proud to offer classroom training in seven cities across Ontario. To check out our open course offerings, head on over to our Classroom Courses page!
